Manualの最高傑作。この作品の音楽性はエレクトロニカというよりシューゲイザーだと思うが、そのサウンドが暴力的に響く箇所はひとつとしてなく、眩いばかりのノスタルジーが全編を包んでいる。ジャケットの印象どおりの作品で、特に1曲目は多くの方が指摘するとおり素晴らしい出来栄えだ。思わずもうこのまま曲が終わらないで欲しいと感じてしまう。他の収録曲も総じてハイ・レヴェルで、全体の出来栄えに凸凹がないため、最後まで一気に聴きとおせてしまう。Hammockの流れで聴くことになったのだが、聴いて大正解だった。是非多くの方に聴いてもらいたいと思う。

久しぶりに聴いてみたら以前とまた違う印象になってました。’80懐古主義的なセンチな音作りが胸を締め付けますね。過ぎてゆく青春を惜しんでいるような、オシャレじゃない感じが好きです。
