グールドの勢いが感じられる良い演奏です。再生時の音量レベルが高いのでFMのような感じで、古いけど聞きやすい。

　グールドの演奏に興味がある人には必聴盤と言えるだろう。2種のゴールドベルクは短期間に演奏スタイルが大きく変わったことを示している。カラヤンとのベートーヴェンもこの上なく面白い。青柳いづみこさんの「グレン・グールド」や村上春樹・小澤征爾対談集をを読む上で重要な資料だ。録音状態の悪いものが多く、一般的な意味ではすすめられない。
