コレが最高傑作。音の一つ一つがHerbertの血と肉であり分身。次作がやや野暮に感じられる程。M9ほどシュールな曲は聴いたことがない。特に後半3曲は知性に満ちている。

音数が少なくシンプルなようでいて、すごく複雑に構築されている。１年以上、聴きっぱなしだけど、ぜんぜん飽きない。スルメのように味わえる音楽。ハーバートはちょっと別ジャンルだよね。

かなり浮遊感溢れるｻｳﾝﾄﾞもあり、ﾋﾞｰﾄが冴える曲もあり聴きごたえあり。bodily functionにも収録されたThe Last beatのﾊｳｽﾊﾞｰｼﾞｮﾝもよい。
