過去の作品と較べるレビューが多いが、リリースのスパンを考えるとこれはアルバム単位で評価するべきではないだろうか。でもはっきりって通しで聴くと似た曲が多いな、と言う印象。曲単位ではいい曲が多いんだけどね。

Bostonの6th(2013年)。 今度は前作から11年の間隔があり、翌年の2014年に2度目の来日公演を行うことになる。三度目の来日も期待したいところ。

あまり評価の良くないボストンの新作。買って聞いてみたらイイじゃないですか。 メロは流石に初期２枚に適わないし、ギターの音もぐわーんとした重ね具合が気持ちもう一つな感じもありますが、やっぱりこれはボストンでしょ。スパンが長すぎるから期待も大きくなるのかもだけど。この新作も７０年代から続くボストン節が炸裂してますよ。そもそもボストンとはトム・ショルツ先生のソロプロジェクトみたいなもんだから先生が作れば面子が変わっても何も変わりません。トム先生！あなたが出せば買います。出し続けて下さい！
