どうしちゃったのでしょうか、このバンド?! ノリノリです。完璧にハジけちゃってます。バーンスタインの「プレリュード...」では、とても普段お固いクラシックをやっているロンドン交響楽団金管セクションの連中とは思えないくらいスウィングしています。もちろん、その他の曲も秀逸。NAXOSレーベルのガブリエリとは正反対の演奏をなさっています。トランペットには、スター・ウォーズやレイダースのサントラにも参加しているMaurice Murphyや、Philip Jones Brass Ensembleでも来日しているJames Watsonらが参加。1991年録音。逸品です。
