　これまで入手困難だったアトランティック...

　これまで入手困難だったアトランティック時代のユセフ・ラティーフのアルバムが千円シリーズで手に入るのはなんともうれしい。 　本作は76年録音で、メンバーを見るとロン・カーターやケニー・バロンなどが見えるので、ややオーソドックスな内容かとおもいきや、これが結構ぶっ飛んでいる。 　シンセの音がずいぶん目立ち、あれ、ケニー・バロンがこんなに弾けるのかな、と調べてみると、別のよく名前の知らない人が、アープ2600を操っているようだ。 　初期のエキゾな感じと、70年代のフュージョン・ファンクが綯交ぜになった聞きやすくも怪しい一枚だ。
