１９７６年発表の２枚目。当時大きな話題になった彼らの代表作です。前作「一触即発」は、ちょっと聴くと「ピンクフロイドの日本人的解釈みたいな作品」でしたが、単なる物まねではない、シュールで味のある優れた作品でした。

こちらも70年代の日本にこんなすごいバンドがいたのかという衝撃の完成度。1stよりもキャッチーでとっつきやすい曲が多いかもしれません。91年に再発されたものですが音質も妙にいいし安いのでおススメです。

「一触即発」と「ゴールデンピクニックス」（レコーデイング時の差し入れのアイスクリームの銘柄名？）の２枚は、死ぬまでに一度は、聴いて体験しないと、人生損しちゃうぜい・・・・。「レデイ・バイオレッタ」はアルバムヴァージョンのフルートソロも良いけど、やっぱシングルヴァージョンの、モリのギターソロが絶対カッコイイよね～。
