ザバンドのラストワルツを見て、彼のパフォーマンスにノックアウトさせられ（曲はキャラバン）、それからファンになりました。ある雑誌にラストワルツの特集があり、リハーサルの時？に、彼が、アイルランドの子守唄っていうを歌っているとき、スタッフが、感動で涙を流してたっていう文章を読んで、彼の魂の篭った歌心が、益々好きになりました。是非一度、生で彼のパフォーマンスを体験してみたです。

この時期のＶＡＮの音楽は、非常にゆったりとした大きなうねりのような感じです。そのうねりに身を任せると、これがまた非常に気持ち良くて。日本では知名度も低いし僅かなリスナーしかいないと思うけど、聞いたら絶対嵌る人です。身を正して聞くだけの内容がありますよ。
