この盤には数ある「チェニジアの夜」の最高の演奏が収録してあります。　オープニングのテーマが現れるまでの管楽器奏者がパーカッションをもってシャカシャカと鳴らして気分を高揚させてくれます。　もちろんブレイキーのドラムも最高です。

超有名曲、「Night in Tunisia」から始まります。そこでのイントロが、もうどうでしょ、というくらいブレイキーおじさんのドタドタドラム。ペットはリー・モーガン、サックスはウェイン・ショーターです。「Yama」でのモーガンのソロがかっこいいです。また、「Kozo’s waltz」という曲の邦題は「小僧のワルツ」といいます。嘘のような本当の話。「So tired」がお薦め。
