『Tuesday Night Music Club』30周年記念。バーニー・グランドマンがオリジナルの1/2インチのフラット・マスター・テープを使用して新しいマスターを作成し、ラッカーをカット。

1993年発表のデビュー・アルバム。マイケル・ジャクソンなどのバック・シンガーをやっていた彼女が、プロデューサーでもあるビル・ボトレルと出会い、アルバムを作成、シングルとして出した「オール･アイ・ウォナ・ドゥ」が大ヒット、一躍人気女性シンガーとなった。この後、女性シンガーのブームになるのはご存知のとおり。グラミー新人賞受賞。

１曲目、繰り返される3拍子のへヴィーなワルツ、冒頭の歌詞、She Was Born　In Novenber 1963,The Day Alidos　Huxley Died は、ケネディ大統領の暗殺の事か？その日に生まれた私が、彼女を聴くようは、ある種必然で、アメリカ南部のロック、ブルースをいる濃く感じさせる、芯の強い女性の1993年でデヴュー盤。後年、エリック・クラプトンとねんごろになるのもむべなるかな、大阪のFM802 が、へヴィー・ローテーションでガンガンに掛けて、私の心に引っかかった。802では、1位獲得も当然の名盤。
