’14年発表。スーパー・ファーリー・アニマルズのガトー・プライスとリンジー・レーヴェンによるバンドのデビュー・アルバム。ガトーが「サンシャインポップなレコードを作りたかったんだ。ハッピーなバイブを持って、人々を微笑ませ躍らせるような音楽をね」と本作の制作動機を語っているが、結果としてその日差しは米国西海岸のものとは異なるブリテン島のものになっているのが、この作品の魅力。時に薄日となり雲が流れてくることもある、ある種のサイケデリック／アシッドなテイストも感じられる(当然、60年代のサンシャイン・ポップの背景にもサイケデリアは存在するのだけれど)のは性分とかしか言いようがないですね。ファーリーズのキアン・キアランとダフィット・エヴァンもゲスト参加しているこのサイド・プロジェクトは、定型の音を集めたモザイクで構成しようとしても、完成形は定型にはならない。やはり本家ファーリーズに直結しているといっていいでしょう。聴き始めるとクセになる、かなり強い中毒性を持つアルバムになってます。
