New interpretations of familiar compositions such as Sade’s ”Kiss Of Life” performed by Rachel Z and the Beatle’s ”If I Fell” performed by Nando Lauria breathe an air of freshness. If you love classic Jazz, and beautifully lush vocals, to truly create a mood, this CD is a must!

とても贅沢1枚。80分ぎっしりの素晴らしい名曲ばかりです。 選曲と曲順が良いから、80分間、中だるみなしで、気持ちよく聴けます。 ケニー・ランキンのハヴント・ウィ・メットはチェスキーレーベルのヴァージョン、ベニー・シングスのメイク・ア・レインボウはレコードにしか収録されてなかった拍手なしのバージョン。初めて聴いたランドン・ピッグ？の曲なんて、ものすごくイイ曲でした。ラストのルイス・ヴァン・ダイクの演奏はとても切なく美しい。全て聴き終わったあと、なんとも言えない静かな興奮と心地よさに包まれた。こんなコンピは久しぶりだな……
