ゲームアーツとのコラボレーションにより、岩垂徳行が作曲・編曲を手掛け、完全リマスターされた『グランディアII』のサウンドトラックがレコード化されることになりました！ 2000年に日本で発売されたドリームキャスト用のカルト・タイトルで、特にその革新的な戦闘システムが高く評価され、最近では2019年にNintendo SwitchとPCでリマスター版が発売されました。 「グランディアII メモリアル・サウンドトラック・エディション」は、本作のオリジナル・キャラクター・デザイナーであるカノエ・ユウシ氏による描き下ろしイラストを使用した豪華レコードボックス仕様。 イエローのカラーディスク3枚を個別イラスト入りスリーブに封入し、重間啓氏（シナリオライター）、西田敦子氏（デザイナー）、岩垂徳行氏（作曲家）、川澄かおり氏（ボーカル）のコメントと、カノエ・ユウシ氏によるイラストを掲載した16ページの新デザインブックレットを封入。
