シンプルかつストレート。デイブの魅力に溢れた好アルバム。変に作り込まない潔さが好きです。｢これ以外道がない｣とか｢一緒に眠っていても見る夢は違う｣とか、素朴かつ意味深い歌詞も印象的。作られた作品と言うより、生まれ出た作品という感じ。ある曲のギターフレーズはその後のフロイドのライブで使われていたりして、ギタリスト・ギルモアを愛する人は、必聴の一作。

ほんの少し陰の差す雰囲気ながら全体的に爽やかなギター・サウンドなのでサーフィンへ行く途中の車中ＢＧＭでも良し。ＰＩＮＫ ＦＬＯＹＤとメンバー・ソロはやはり７０年代がいい。
