LP当時のA面４曲とアルバムタイトル曲がいい。翌年（82年）には「王様達のハイキング」が出るが、その後拓郎は長期低迷に入る（ように思われる）。その兆しはB面の数曲に現れているのではないか。名曲「ファミリー」もアルバム発売より1年くらい前からステージで歌われていた曲だ。でも「Y」はいいなあ。
