　オープニングからゾクゾクさせられる良質...

　オープニングからゾクゾクさせられる良質のＡＯＲナンバー「We’re So Close」。昼下がりの街角をそぞろ歩きたくなる「One More Fool」。聴き手の心を捉えて離さない優しくもセンチメンタルなバラード「Savin’ It Up」。何となく Rupert Holmes をイメージさせる「Win Back Your Heart」。小粋でハイセンスな佳曲「Dues」…。　ソングライターとしてではなく、シンガーとしての高い意識で創られたアルバムとして、良質の作品が揃った名盤だと思います。　その昔、ＦＭラジオのＡＯＲ特集番組で紹介された Mary MacGregor との息の合ったデュエットが聴ける「Second Chance At Love」が個人的なお気に入りです。ソフトなタッチで描かれたＭＯＲのラヴ・ソングではありますが、この曲での彼女に起用は、何よりも”当たり”だったように思います。　この勢いで、セルフ・カヴァー集『Words And Music』も再リリース願いたいものです。

優しいボーカル、それだけで癒されます。たくさんの人に曲を書いてるけどどの曲も美しい。全てのアルバムが再発されないかな。
