正史では、ビートルズ『Please Please Me』...

正史では、ビートルズ『Please Please Me』から『ABBEY ROAD』までの6年や、レディオヘッド『Pablo Honey』から『KID A』までの7年の進化は、驚愕の対象とされている。しかし歴史の裏でのnine days wonder『the scenery is in disguise there』から今回の9dw『Migrant』12"までの一見ゆるやかな9年の流れは、俯瞰するなら同等の価値があると断言しよう。ポスト・ハードコアの完成型をまさかの日本人が成し遂げてしまった前述1stもさることながら、ディープ・ハウスのテクノ化あるいはミニマル・テクノのディープ化といった09年トレンドにも横目で目配せするさりげない世界同時進行加減に一体どれだけの人が気付くのかに思いを馳せるだけで歯痒い。BASTROからTORTOISE
