名盤Swedish Standardsでピアノトリオの楽しさを満喫された方(Jan Lundgren のルックスにしびれた女性)にはお薦めのアルバムです。スウェーデンのスタンダードならぬアメリカのジャズプレイヤーたちのスタンダードを名手Jesper Lundgaard(b)、Alex Riel(ds)と丁寧に誠実に演奏しています。特にLundgaardの歌うベースが光る。私は、4曲目 Billy Boy が大好きです。MilestonesでのRed Garlandを彷彿とさせる、タイトル通りスインギーなプレイ。安心して聴いていられる、いつものLundgrenがここにいます。
