絶対の買いだ。不思議に飽きの来ないアルバム。直に聞いたことはなく、よってCDでの印象ではあるが、ホールは躍動感こそ若干欠くものの、オーソドックスと感じさせながらワンアンド・オンリーのスタイルを持っている。難しいことをやりながらそう聞こえない。ハーモナイジングで明らかにエヴァンスに影響を受けている。エヴァンスが練習しているときに録音されたテープにあわせて今も練習しているという。ギタートリオでこれだけ聞かせるギタープレイヤーは知らない。ポールデズモンドとのアルバムもすばらしい。
