Product Description

The stories of two love-struck cops intersect in Hong Kong. Firstly we meet Cop 223, who has broken up with his girlfriend of five years. He purchases a tin of pineapples with an expiration date of May 1 each day for a month. By the end of that time, he feels that he will either be rejoined with his love or that it too will have expired forever. His story intersects with Cop 663 who is dealing with his break-up with his flight attendant girlfriend. Unbeknown to him though the girl that serves him his lunch each day has fallen in love with him. Getting hold of his apartment keys she sets about going there each day to tidy the place up and do some re-decorating, though this goes unnoticed as he s still in such a daze from his break-up. All of this takes place in the most amazingly visual style, in a city bathed in neon light and to the constant soundtrack of The Mamas and Papas "California Dreaming", which if you didn't like at the start you'll love by the finish.

香港。２５歳の誕生日を間近にした刑事のモウ（金城武）はメイという女の子に失恋した。重慶マンションを根城にする正体不明の金髪の女は外国人たちを雇いヤクの密輸を画策したが、彼らに逃げられた。そんなふたりが酒場で出会い、プラトニックな一夜を過ごす。話は変わって。スッチーをゲットした警官（トニー・レオン）がファーストフード店で新入りの女の子（フェイ・ウォン）と出会う。女の子はスッチーが彼宛に置いて彼の部屋の鍵を盗み、秘かに忍び込み部屋の模様替えをする。やがて、その思いを知った警官は女の子に愛を告白しようとするが……。
