ドン・チェリーとエド・ブラックウェルのデュオ作品三作目。前二作からは時間が経っているので、内容も少なからず異なる。前作の「ミューパートⅡ」でもチェリーはピアノ演奏をしていたが本作ではさらにフィーチャーされている。前二作が余りにも素晴らしい出来だったので、ちょっと二番煎じというか、良く言えば少しリラックスした雰囲気がある。やはりこれからこのデュオをきくならば前二作の「ミューパートⅠ、パートⅡ」を聴いてからの方が良いだろうと思う。
