今月にベストが出るらしいが、笑っちゃうのはオレだけ？CoverEPの曲は入ってないのだろうか？それにしてもなんと日本人好みの音を奏でてくれてたことか。SteveVaiの初ソロといい、日本の洋学ファンは変則プログレにも素早く反応してしまう。このアルバム発売当時「クロスオーヴァー」と呼ばれていたが、後に「ミクスチャー」という言葉が流通した時に彼らを思い出した。レスも「ポルカだってファンクだぜ。」って言ってたし。素材を溶解させて未加工のままで販売してる音がこのアルバムにはある。素朴あるいは朴訥と言ってもいいのかもしれない。
