ある人から、サンタナやロス・ロンリーボーイズ、ロス・ロボスなんかが好きなら、これも！　と奨められて買ったら……めっけものでした。 皮肉の効いたセンスに思わずニヤリとしつつ、乾いた外面とは裏腹に、中身はしっとりと粘りつく感性、その哀愁と開き直りの、具合のよいバランスに引き込まれました。 いわゆる、ラテンロックやヒスパニックロックとカテゴライズしてしまうと、このバンドの良さは伝わない。彼らだけが持つ、けだるくもウイットに富んだユーモア、暑いなかにも醒めたセンス、これはなかなかのものだと感心しています。 雑なようで密、荒っぽいようで繊細、汗臭いようでかぐわしい――真夏の湿度が異様に高い夕方だけでなく、冬のしんしんと雪が降る夜中にも合いそうな、意外に適応力のあるロックです。
