この時期の明菜の作品はみな、静の中の激しさというか、深みがあり物凄い濃厚な空気が漂った名作揃い。 事件後の潜伏期間にこれほどの成長をしているとは！と当時驚いた記憶があります。 さらに洗練された00年代も良いですが、ぜひこの90年代の曲も聴いてみてほしい。

[歌姫]三部作の中では本作の明菜さんの歌声が一番良いと思います。[歌姫２]と[３]での歌声は、この頃（今から10年ほど前）に比べると少し衰えてきたように聴こえてしまうので。でも三枚とも素晴らしい作品です！
