「I hate stinkin’ war!」彼は声を大にして何度もこう言っている。「意味の無い戦争は嫌いだ！」と。第二次大戦やアフガンの戦争は意味があったとNeilは語っている。全てを踏まえた上で作り上げられたアルバムがこの反戦アルバムである。彼の純粋に悲しんでいる歌詞、唄、ギター、ブッシュ政権とアメリカ国民の声が聴こえてくる。
