ジム・モリソン死後の3人組ドアーズが残したドアーズ名義の2枚のアルバムが手軽に聞けるＣＤです。アナログ盤に比べると若干音がやせた感じがしますが、元々ベース音を強調せず浮遊感のあるギターと軽快な音数の多いキーボードで構成した音作りなので、あまり気になりません。元々ヒット曲の多くは残りのメンバーが書いていたので曲のレベルは高く、再評価されないのが残念です。L.A.WOMAN 制作時の残りの曲とそこから発展した楽曲が中心であり、ジムが歌っていればもっと良いだろうと感じるのは事実ですが、曲の良さは低下していません。５曲目のDOWN ON THE FARM や６曲目のI`M HORNY,I`M STONEDあたりはL.A.WOMAN に入れても全く違和感が無いほどの出来です。星が4つなのはジャケットワークがいまひとつなのが理由で内容は星５つです。
