1971年リリース。ロック・ミュージシャンのアポロ・シアター版と言われていたフィルモア・ウエストでのライヴ盤。選曲がロック・ファン受けするものありで、いささかキツイ感じです。”MAKE IT WITH YOU”はアレンジがいいから聞けたと言うところでしょうか。ARETHAはドタキャン平気な人だからこうしたライヴ盤は希少ですよ。RAYとのジョイントはご愛嬌。今となっては珍コレクションになりますね。声が割れたりしてたけど熱気が伝わる名盤の１枚です。

正直アレサにしてはVoが荒すぎると感じる。（LIVEだからそれでいいのでしょうが・・また当然アレサなので他の凡庸なVOの遥か彼方の地平にいってるのだが・・・）少なくともアレサのVOに限っていえば、このアルバムの各曲はスタジオ録音の素晴らしさに勝っている曲は１つもない。と思う。やはりSOULはスタジオ録音が基本！！
