ロッコの倒れる前に録音したと聞いてたので、本来は去年の秋くらいに出るはずだった作品らしいです。去年の夏にこの新譜のことを聞いたので、正直かなり待ちました。そして、やっと発売されて聴きました。パンチの効いたリズムセクションとホーンセクション、そして美しいハーモニー、どれをとっても素晴らしいです。これぞ「タワー･オブ･パワー」という感じです。今回はレーベルの移籍をしたらしいので、国内盤はビクターから出るようですね。ボーナストラックも2曲追加されているようです。
