2ndから聴き始めたのですが、どうもジャケが好きになれずに買わなかったんですよね…。しかし、遂に3rdアルバムと一緒にこのデビューアルバムを買いました所…す、素晴らしい！！最高じゃないですか！？他のアルバムに比べて、ボーカルの音が抑え気味ではありますが、この雰囲気は一瞬にハワイに連れていってくれます！ホテルの広場で夜毎繰り返されるハワイアンの雰囲気、はたまた、ハワイの海の輝き、風に乗って流れてくるプルメリアやピカケ、ガーデニアの香り、等々懐かしくて胸が締め付けられる様です。またガンバってハワイに行かなければ…と思わせてくれる彼女のアルバムです。マジ素晴らしい！ハワイのグラミー賞と呼ばれるナ・ホク・ハノハノ・アワードでデビュー盤にもかかわらず、新人賞と女性ボーカリスト賞を受賞しています。次の2ndアルバムは、グラミー賞(本当の)(笑)にもノミネートされたという、先が楽しみなアーティストです。
