タイトル通りのナチュラルな作品。主役であるはずのバーニーリードンの作品からプロフェッショナルを感じるのに対し、マイケルジョージアデスの作品には一切のプロっぽさがない。まさに透明で無垢、最高に上質な才能を感じさせる。通に受ける作品として知られるが、私はこの作品に関して、圧倒的にジョージアデスの作曲能力に負うところが大であると思う。バーニーの名前でCDの復刻も果たしたことは喜ばしいが、商業的に成功できず、表舞台で活躍することなく消えていく才能もあるということを改めて考えさせられる一枚。
