こいつは最高に楽しいですよ。Bela Fleckのバンジョーが本当に粋！　それに録音が抜群に良い。ベースのなんともトランジェントに優れ、弾力に富んだ気持ちの良い音はそうそうお目にかかれないと思います。

キャリアの最晩年といえるマッコイが新作をリリースしてくれるのは嬉しい。が、パワフルさが全くない。音数を絞った枯れた味、というべきか、単に指が動かなくなっているようで、痛々しい。もはや新曲が作れないのか、またか、と思うほどのおなじみの選曲である。今まででもギターが参加したアルバムは数多い。ジョンスコやアバークロンビエーはもとより、アール・クルーとの競演も。サイドではグラント・グリーンとが印象深かった。ともあれ、DVDつきなのは嬉しいし、マッコイには今後も元気でやってほしい。
