1950年代後半、松本英彦を追いかけていた宮沢、60年代になるとコルトレーンの影響下にあった2人だが、60年代末期、フリージャズの影響下の時代に2人の立場ははっきりと別の地平にたった。当時、最高のリズムセクションを従えた宮沢の面目躍如のコンテンポラリー・ジャズが展開する。70年代半ばから再び、回帰する宮沢だが、日本のジャズが世界の最先端に立った69〜71年の真っ只中、こんな凄い演奏が残されていた。タイトル、曲名は、釣り好きの宮沢らしい命名だ。富樫も佐藤も若く、そして、アグレッシブだ。日本ジャズが残した永久の金字塔アルバム。
