私が持っている唯一のマドンナのアルバムです。マドンナのアルバムの中では極めて影が薄いようですしマドンナとしては異質のアルバムでしょうが、私はこのアルバムがマドンナの中で一番好きです。中でも社会性の強い歌詞が歌われているハリウッド、アメリカンライフが特に好きです。

デビュー以来、彼女のアルバムは全て購入して来ましたがこのアルバムで初めて、彼女の音楽にオサラバしました。 ので、ラジオで聴いたタイトル曲しか知りませんので評価出来ません。 なのにしゃしゃり出て来てでも言いたいのは、何不自由ない生活を送る最も成功した女性に”アメリカの生活”を歌う事が出来るのでしょうか？ U2やスプリングスティーンじゃあるまいし、もう戦うべき敵はいないはずでは。
