かつての幻盤。私が最初に入手したのは出所不明のペラペラ・ジャケのLP盤でした（音もお粗末）。正規のルートでオリジナル・ジャケで販売されてまずはめでたし。幻盤の中には聴くと幻のままにしとけば…みたいなものもあるのですが、これは内容も素晴らしいです。おそらく、ツアー用の臨時編成のバンドですが、バンド一体となったこれぞハード・バップという演奏が聴けます。特に古巣に錦を飾る?B.JasperはH.Mobleyばりのバップ・テナー振りを見せてくれます。 大きな会場での録音で音が遠く薄く位相もなんだか変なのが残念。
