Product Description

Honey Daniels (Jessica Alba) is a dancer and aspiring choreographer who dreams of making it big in the hip-hop world. Not content with living in her parent's secure world, Honey has moved to the vibrant inner city where the streets are a barrage of sound, energy and music. Life there is tough; Honey works three jobs, teaching hip-hop classes at a local youth centre and working in a record shop by day and bartending at a trendy club by night. Honey comes alive on the club's dance floor and her smooth moves eventually catch the eye of influential video director Michael Ellis (David Moscow), who casts her in his next project, a Jadakiss video.

Before long, New York is buzzing about Honey Daniels, and artists such as Ginuwine and Missy Elliott are clamouring to work with the innovative rising star. However, almost as quickly as it arrives, her dream starts to dissolve and Honey finds herself back where she started. However, the exuberant energy of a group of neighbourhood kids and their daily struggles soon inspire Honey, and with the help of her boyfriend Chaz (Mekhi Phifer) she teaches them how to change their lives by letting go on the dancefloor.

Content Description

夜はクラブでバーテンダー、昼はレコード屋でバイトをしながら、市民センターで子供たちにヒップホップ・ダンスを教えているハニー。彼女の夢はプロのダンサーになることだが、オーディションに落ちてばかり。しかし、ある日、大物ディレクター、マイケルの目に留まり、ミュージックビデオのバックダンサーとしてデビュー、引き替えに、親友や子供たちと過ごす時間が無くなり、自分を見失いがち。そんなある日、パーティーの席で追ってくるマイケルを拒んだために、彼女は仕事を干されてしまう----。

すばらしい！良い友達に恵まれ、天賦の才を高い志に生かす。道が閉ざされても妥協せず、時がくるのを忍耐強く待ち続ける。得るのに時があり、失うのに時がある。諦めないハニーの言葉、なるほどね。もう一つのキーポイントは創造。振り付けに悩んで、試行錯誤して汗を流して生み出していく。一方で「この道（慈善）は一度入っちゃうと抜け出せなくなるわ」という母親の言葉、道に嵌っている人の重さが伝わる。感性を磨くのに良い本が役立つが、そういう本に出会うのも至難なこと。同様に良い映画に出会うのも稀なこと。若い人に是非観てもらいたい。

まず単純にJESSICA ALBAが好きです！タイプです！この映画、かわいさと格好よさがはじけてます！あと全面にあるﾀﾞﾝｽｼｰﾝがすごい！これ見て、今はﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞの時代ではないとショック受けました
