今でこそ「２０世紀少年」で有名になったT-Rexですが、マーク・ボランの死後しばらく忘れられた存在になっていたような気がします。かくゆう私も、高校のとき同級生たちがグラムロックにはまり、マーク・ボランやデビット・ボウイのまねをして歌っているのを見ていました。結局、よく考えたら同級生のを見ただけで実物を聴いた気になっていたことに最近気づきました。そこで、反省してやっと購入したしだいです。今聴くと、時代が逆行しますが、ちょっと優しいニルバーナという感じで、意外とメロディアスで、同級生たちのグロテスト（失礼）なエアバンドとはずいぶんとイメージが違うのがびっくりでした。人生の大半をグラムロックに対して誤解して過ごしたことにとても反省しています。ボーナストラックを聴くと、ずいぶん苦労して楽曲を創っていることがわかり感激しました。
