当時の録音技術及び最高のミュージシャンによって制作された、究極の1枚。 ドラマーはジェリー・マロッタ、マヌ・カッチェ、スチュワート・コープランド（M1.では“ハイハット”だけ！）の3人、ベースもトニー・レヴィンに加え、ラリー・クライン、ビル・ラズウェルまでも起用。まるでスティーリー・ダンのような贅沢さ！ プロデューサーはダニエル・ラノア。同年U2の「ヨシュア・トゥリー」も手掛けているが、本当に「優れた音楽には優れた音楽人」という教科書のようなアルバムです。 M3.でのケイト・ブッシュの声も奇跡的な美しさ。
