本当に買ってよかったです。特にこのアルバムと同じタイトルのAbandoned Gardenは、Michael Franksが心から尊敬し、かつ、生涯の友であったAntonio Carlos Jojimの死を悼んで創られたもので、胸がいたくなるほど、美しい曲です。Antonio’s Songを心から愛した人にも、そうでない人にも、ぜひ、お奨めします。 またIn The Yellow Houseでは、アルルで、ゴーギャンと共に短いときを過ごしたゴッホを Franks が歌っています。最期のゴッホのつぶやきがいつまでも心に響きます。
