Sofia Coppolaの表現する作品にはいつもさすが！と思ってしまう。 それは映像・音楽・ファッション…と映画のあらゆる所に現れていて、その世界観にあたしはいつも感動を覚える。 これまでの作品のサントラも購入していますが、今回のも選曲の良さに感激しました。

ディスク１の歌ものも、もちろんいいけれど、ディスク２の曲達を聴くと、映画のシーンやマリーの表情がよみがえってきて、泣けます。いつもながら、ソフィアのセンスが大好き！

一人の女の子として描いたソフィア・コッポラの『マリー・アントワネット』。前作の『ロスト〜』の様にヨクワカンナイ空虚な気持ちを抱く人物像を描くのが上手い。明日がどうなるかなんて関係無いモッズのような王侯貴族。ロックを織り交ぜた選曲にも、そんな監督の意図が感じられるようだ。
