ブルース感覚かどうかは知らないが、黒人らしいフィーリングが随所に聞かれる。ゴスペルなども聞く環境で育ったのであろう。他のアルバムは聞いたことがないので何もいないが、ここではさまざまなスタイルで曲を調理している。聞いていて感心するし楽しい。ベース以下も素晴らしい。アルバムの硬性もしっかりしていて録音も良い。これ以上何も望むところはない。買いだ。98点。オリジナルも悪くない。

サイラスの作品は大抵つまらないが、これだけは別。ジャズピアノのエッセンスが色濃く表れた傑作。どの曲も陰影の濃いメロディーと卓越したブルース感覚と抜群のリズム感にあふれている。どうしてこのアルバムだけなのか？
