'84年発表｡2年近くに録られた35曲のｽﾄｯｸから集められた作品集｡｢北京の秋｣の清水靖晃､来日時にｼﾞｬﾑしたﾅﾑ･ｼﾞｭﾝ･ﾊﾟｲｸなど､ｹﾞｽﾄ布陣の顔ぶれは音楽日記のよう｡質感へのこだわりは完璧｡

日本盤では｢音楽図鑑｣ですがこのUS盤は酷い｡名曲の｢SELF PORTRAT｣が抜けてるし､その他3曲ぐらい抜けてる｡｢未来派野郎｣と姉妹盤みたいな感じですかね｡(ｿﾚｶﾞ無ｲﾉｻ)全体的に爽やかな音色で落ち着いた曲が多い｡日本盤ならﾚﾋﾞｭｰ9点です!!

タイトルとHMVのページ上の情報だけで入手しましたが、内容的には「音楽図鑑」に、いくらか枝葉をつけた選曲です。「音楽図鑑」があまりにもの名作のため、少し拍子抜けしましたが、「FIELD WORK」や、「STEPPIN’ INTO ASIA」のシングルヴァージョンが収録されているので、
