バドゥパウエル入門の一枚。馴染みの曲ストックホルム、ジョードゥー、サテンドール等々でパウエルがうたっている、歌心を見事に発揮している彼がここにいます。素晴らしい！

やっぱし全盛期の鬼人の如き即興演奏を繰り広げていたBud Powellと比較しちゃうので評価の面ではひとつ落としちゃうんだけど、1960sのBud Powellの安定した演奏は聴き手をリラックスさせてくれます◇◆◇ だけど一方でこのアルバムはかつてのバドを知っていると妙に『聴かせる』ところがあって…、なにやら感動モノです◇◆◇特に”Indiana”…◇◆◇皆さん是非とも聴いてみて下さい〆
