たポップ･カルチャー。そのニューヨークでポップ･アート界の寵児として活躍していたアンディ･ウォーホールを魅了した一人の女性がいた。それがニコ。ウォーホールのすすめで、ルー・リード率いるヴェルヴェット･アンダーグラウンドのボーカルに抜擢された彼女は、その幻想的で魅惑的な歌声とカリスマ性で、瞬く間にスターダムにのし上がった。本作では80年代半ば、ソロ活動に励んでいたニコの２つのライブに加え、伝説的クラブ「ハシエンダ」でのパフォーマンスを収録。ヴェルヴェット時代の名曲から、貴重なインタビュー映像まで、彼女の魅力を余すことなく堪能することができる、充実の130分である。
