Panzer Dragoon: Remakeは、1995年にセガサターンから発売された3Dレールシューティングゲームであるオリジナル版のストーリーやゲームシステムは忠実に再現しつつ、グラフィックスの高精細化や新たな操作モードの追加などが施されたリメイク版である。

音楽はオリジナル版でも作曲を担当した、東祥高(あずまよしたか)が今回も作曲を担当。アレンジは同シリーズであるPanzer Dragoon SagaやPanzer Dragoon Ortaでも音楽を担当した小林早織。
東をリスペクトしてるという小林が、どのように彼女のスタイルをアレンジに組み込んでくるか、その辺りも楽しめるポイントであろう。
