このアルバムは確か秋ごろに聴いていたと思うのですが、その季節にとてもマッチしていた思い出があります。BECKが紡ぐ独特の浮遊感があって、夢のような世界にいざなわれて、一度聴くと手放せなくなるアルバムだと思います。

この作品に無駄な音はいっさいない。だからと言ってシンプルな訳じゃない。言うならばミッドセンチュリーで統一し整理整頓された部屋。イームズの椅子など主張しすぎないハイセンスなモノなどが、あるべき場所にある。そんな日常にある異空間がこの５２分間に詰まっている。
