His Name Is AliveことWarren Defeverの初期未発表音源集3部作の3作目となる今作は、これまでにリリースされた『All The Mirrors In The House』、『Return To Never』の2作と同様、美しいアンビエント・サウンドや逆再生のループ・サウンドは健在だが、より曲としての構成がはっきりとした楽曲へと移行していることがわかる。
また、ここに収録されている曲の多くは、〈4AD〉の創設者であるIvo Watts-Russellの目に留まったというデモテープに収録されることとなり、そのデモテープがきっかけで後の〈4AD〉からのファーストアルバム『Livonia』リリースにつながったという。
当時〈4AD〉が打ち出していたコクトー・ツインズやモータル・コイルが奏でるドリームポップのようなテクスチャーが感じられると共に、初期のミニマル・ミュージック、80年代のインダストリアル、ブルースやフォークなど様々な影響を感じさせる全13曲を収録。
