●映画音楽のレジェンド、ジョン・ウィリアムズとヴァイオリンの女王アンネ=ゾフィー・ムター。トップ・アーティストの長年の友情とコラボレーションの結実である新作ヴァイオリン協奏曲の世界初録音。『ライヴ・イン・ウィーン』ブルーレイ・ビデオの対談映像でウィリアムズがムターに「君の音色や感性を表現したい、肖像画を描くようなものだ」と、その存在を匂わせていた、ムターのために作曲したヴァイオリン協奏曲です。昨年7月のタングルウッド音楽祭で初演、DG Stageで限定配信され、その後9月末〜10月頭にかけて世界初録音されました。
