「ザ・ベストテン」第２回放送に「赤い絆」で初出演してから、「いい日旅立ち」で女性ソロシンガー初の一位を獲得、そして引退直前に「さよならの向う側」で有終の美を飾るまでの約２年１０ヶ月の全記録を、ディスク５枚、約７時間にも及ぶ映像で振り返る、最初で最後の永久保存版ＤＶＤ ＢＯＸです。
当時、最高視聴率４１.９%を記録した「ザ･ベストテン」は、今回番組として初のＤＶＤ化。もちろん名曲の数々だけではなく、お馴染みのミラーゲートからの登場や久米宏＆黒柳徹子とのトークまでもたっぷり収録！百恵さん２０歳の誕生日を出演者でお祝いするシーン、映画のロケで海外に向かう百恵さんを成田空港で突撃インタビューするシーン、結婚発表から引退までの間に出演したシーンなど、ファンならずとも見逃せない貴重な映像が満載です。
