−やっぱり重鎮はスゴイ！
元Black DogのEd HandleyとAndy TurnerによるUK IDM / エレクトロニカ界の重鎮プロジェクト、Plaid（プラッド）が２年振りの新作アルバム『Heven's Door』を日本限定リリース！
今回も彼らの真骨頂である、幻想的でメランコリックな楽曲を基調にジャズ、レゲエ/ダブ、エスノなど様々なジャンルの要素を取り入れたヴァリエーション豊かな素晴らしい内容。
そして、どんな事をやっても決してダンス/クラブ・ミュージックとしての根っこを枯らさないところが、やはり彼らの一番スゴイところ。なんてったって一音一音がたってるからヤバイんです！
更に、今回のアルバム楽曲は2009年2月より全国上映される邦画「Heaven's Door」の劇中音楽に使われているとの事で、この映画のサウンド・トラックもPlaidが手掛けているようです。いろんな意味で注目のこの一枚、是非お見逃しなく！！
