本作でもニルヴァーナ、OK GO、No Doubtなどクラシックから現代までのロックミュージシャンの作品を多数収録。またDSならではの要素としてワイヤレス通信を使用して、他のユーザーと一緒に演奏したり、対決したりする事が出来ます。


また、マイクに向けて息を吹きかけたり、「ＲＯＣＫ！！」などと叫ぶ独特な機能も搭載。
